Darnell Elementary School is pleased to announce a preschool opportunity for children within our community; ages three and four. This unique experience will provide age-appropriate, preschool instruction for neighborhood children while being included in a learning environment with preschool students with disabilities. This opportunity will enable your child to receive valuable preschool instruction, as well as provide the students with disabilities age-appropriate role models.

Students have been learning about the Native American culture. Students in the upper grades researched a variety of tribes in different regions of the US. They learned about the housing, food, and clothing as well as the government, beliefs and traditions. Students sang songs, listened to the stories, and played the drums using rhythmic phrases.
